KINDRED CHARACTERS is a creative writing journal featuring prose and poetry from emerging writers in our community. The editorial team for this debut issue is made up of attendees of Editor in Chief Beth Eakman's writing workshops held at Lark and Owl. Featuring ten prose pieces and twenty poems as well as original art by Heidi Acott-Monfre and Camilla Watson, this journal is a labor of love that we are proud to present.
