Author Story Time: Kristin Rice

We are so excited to welcome local author Kristin Rice at Lark & Owl Booksellers for a super fun story time and craft!

About the book: "Give a Kid a Box" is a phrase I say all the time, even before becoming a Mom! It is amazing to see a child's imagination run wild when all they have are simple elements in life. This is an imaginative children’s story that includes rhymes, counting, naming colors, memory retention, and potential artwork to replicate with your little ones! Give your kid a box and see what you too can create together!

Kristin Rice was born and raised in Texas. She was one of four children and a vast array of pets. Various sports and the Houston Rodeo were among her many past-times!
Kristin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas A&M University in Theatre and English. She also obtained a certificate in teaching and pastoral counseling. Mrs. Rice has been publicized in multiple magazines, featured in numerous commercials, debuted in many movies and faith based films, modeled with clothing and fitness lines, edited and released a few books, plus now her Children's Book, inspired by her own kids! Motherhood is her proudest accomplishment with a daughter and son who are about to become older siblings to a baby boy!
