We all thought the Percy Jackson series ended with 2014’s The Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover concentrated on the future rather than saving the world but they are back in Chalice of the Gods!! Taking place during Percy’s senior year, he hopes to just have a normal year instead of saving the world all the time, but gets caught up in a new gods and monsters tale that returning and new fans will love.
It’s been nine years since we had a new book, and with The Percy Jackson tv show on Disney+ expected to start in early 2024, this is the perfect time to get reacquainted and catch up with the series.
After saving the world multiple times, Percy Jackson is hoping to have a normal senior year. Unfortunately, the gods aren’t quite done with him. Percy will have to fulfill three quests in order to get the necessary three letters of recommendation from Mount Olympus for college.
The first quest is to help Zeus’s cup-bearer retrieve his goblet before it falls into the wrong hands. Can Percy, Grover, and Annabeth find it in time?
