Workshop Series: The Professor is in! – Nov 29th

Join us for a pop-up writing session. Professor Beth Eakman will be on-site to encourage, engage and guide you through your writing project. Writers at all levels are welcome. This is a safe, inspiring space for you to practice your craft and build a community around writing.

Who is Professor Beth Eakman?

Beth Eakman is a writer, editor, and occasional professor thereof. Her creative work has appeared in publications including Brain, Child Magazine, New York Family Magazine, and Austinmama.com. She has written professionally for an array of clients from science and tech organizations to PBSKids. You can read some of her work at betheakmanre.com or in her Substack newsletter “The Next Thing.” Beth lives with her husband and two rascally Boston Terriers in Northwest Georgetown.

This workshop does require a $5.00 deposit that will be returned to you as a Lark & Owl Booksellers’ voucher at the time of the event. If you are unable to attend, the voucher will be held at the register for to pick up for one week after the event, at which point it will be considered forfeit.
